Sunrise Elementary Students Present a Wax Museum March 12

Sunrise Elementary School fourth graders will present a wax museum on Thursday, March 12 in the multipurpose room from 8:10-8:50 am and 1:50-2:30 pm.

Students were able to select from a wide variety of famous people including presidents, authors, sports figures, actors, activists and more. Once selection was completed, students began researching their person and planned what they wanted to say during the wax museum. They also designed a backdrop and decided what to wear.

“It was nice to take a break from our regular curriculum and allow students to research a famous person and literally become that person during our wax museum,” said Kayleen Smeaton, fourth grade teacher at Sunrise Elementary. “The students are so excited to have the rest of the school and their parents visit the museum.”
