Sunrise School Visits Sheltered Workshop

The Sunrise School Ambassadors, a group chosen by their teachers to be goodwill ambassadors and volunteers in our community, recently visited the Sunshine House Sheltered Workshop. The group made Easter decorations with the employees and then took an informative tour of the facility. They were very interested in the many jobs the workers do there that are contracted out from local manufacturers, as well as producing items for international sales.

This month’s group of ambassadors is helping with the production of the annual Golden Heart Volunteer Celebration, scheduled for April 23 at Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay.
