Switchback to Offer Celtic and Americana at Peg Egan PAC

The internationally renowned duo Switchback will bring its eclectic Celtic and Americana music to the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center (PAC) on July 14, 7 pm, in a concert of original and traditional Irish music and a selection from its catalog of more than 300 original Americana tunes.

Switchback has been playing in sold-out concert halls and festivals around the world for 20-plus years. Its crowd-pleasing concerts include stories of their travels, audience participation and a healthy dose of comedy.

The duo has recorded 13 award-winning albums, the most recent of which is Kanoka. The Irish Music Association has honored Switchback with its Top Duo in a Pub, Festival or Concert honor.

All of the free concerts in the series take place at 7 pm on Sundays in the Peg Egan PAC, in Eames Cherry View Park on Church Street in Egg Harbor. Concert-goers should take blankets or lawn chairs, and carry-ins are allowed. In case of rain, the performance will move to the Calvary Methodist Church, 4650 Cty E in Egg Harbor.
