Taking the First Step

The Artists Guild offers the First Steps Series for aspiring painters to learn about acrylics on March 22, 1 to 3 pm. This class will help participants lay out and complete a painting. The cost is $30 per student; a small materials list is available.

Bottle & Brush continues every Friday from 6:15 – 8:15 pm. Participants supply friends, beverages and snacks, and Artist Guild supplies all art materials. Participants will complete a work of art in this class led by local artist Jen Aldrich. The cost is $35 per person.

Life Drawing Guild is offered on Tuesdays from 6:15 to 8:15 pm. At these sessions, artists can draw from the human figure. The cost is $40/four-week session, or $20 drop in.

The Winter Youth Art Program consists of four Saturday sessions for ages 7 to 12, held from 10 to 11:30 am. Each month focuses on a specific theme, with a different art form explored each week. The cost is $40 for four Saturdays, or $25 per single session. All materials are included.

Open studio time is held 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Mondays and Thursdays. Artists Guild has studio space for individuals or groups for $20/day or buy four days and get a fifth for free.
