Taxidermist Orthober Wins ‘Best in World’ Award

Local taxidermist Mike Orthober won Best in World for Non-Game Bird at the world-championship taxidermy competition and was elected to the Taxidermy Hall of Fame. He has created displays at Crossroads at Big Creek and the Door County Historical Museum, and he’s offered demonstrations throughout the county.
