Thanks For A Bountiful Year

The Jacksonport Farmers Market season ended mid-October following a bountiful season, and the group that organizes the market expressed its thanks to all its customers. The market held weekly in Jacksonport’s Lakeside Park from May through mid-October featured over 30 vendors – growers, artists, crafters, bakers, fish purveyors and others – as well as local musician, Tom Faella. The market started in 2007 with a small core group of local farmers and artists and has grown to its current strength. Several of the vendors have since started their own businesses. The market returns May 21, 2024.
