‘The Living Last Supper’ at Prince of Peace

The Community Choir of Door County will present The Living Last Supper – an interpretation of Christ’s Last Supper with his disciples – on April 14, 3 pm, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.

The Last Supper is one of Christianity’s most significant events, first portrayed centuries ago by Leonardo da Vinci. This 45-minute program, written by Ruth Elaine Schram, includes emotional and moving choral performances intertwined with scripture-based monologues and historical information presented by the 12 disciples, represented by Michael Bleck, Dan Ploor, Mike Nolte, Justin Skiba, Joel Schauske, Travis Grooters, David Robertson, Hervy L. Hodges, Nick Freimuth, Don Heeringa, Mark Fischer and Charles Eckhardt, with Rustom Engineer portraying Jesus.

Donations are welcome; proceeds will benefit Feed and Clothe My People Door County.
