There’s a Lot to Learn at Crossroads

If you missed the Water Summit in June or want to revisit what you heard there, attend Crossroads at Big Creek’s Friday Film Series during the next few weeks to see screenings of some of the lectures. On Sept. 13, 3:30 pm, in the lecture hall of the Collins Learning Center, it will be “The State of the Lakes” by Val Klump, a professor and dean of UW-Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Sciences.

Join Crossroads for the Sun on Sunday astronomy outreach program for families on Sept. 15, 2 pm. It will include a video, activities and an ice-cream sundae. Meet at the Collins Learning Center.

On Sept. 17, 10 am, enjoy an hour-long meadow ramble to see fall flowers that are starting to bloom. Meet at the Collins Learning Center.

Crossroads is a learning center comprising three preserves. The Collins Learning Center, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open weekdays, 10 am – 4 pm; weekends, 1-4 pm; and during scheduled activities.
