The fun really starts Friday night in Valmy at the 36th annual Thresheree & Antique Machinery Show. Gates open at 6pm Friday with a country band. Take a ride on the Washington Island Ferry for the Washington Island Fair. Located on the island’s school grounds enjoy a parade, bingo, raffles, food and beer, and fun games and fair activities. Read more>>
Sunday August 19th, end your Door County weekend at the Annual Belgian Kermiss in Brussels. The Kermiss is a Belgian harvest celebration with traditional food including booyah, trippe, jutt, and Belgian pie. Burgers, beer, and homemade ice cream available, also. Featuring live music, craft exhibitions, a bucket raffle, an antique farm implement display, special presentation, games for kids, and tours of the nearby Belgian American Clubhouse.
