Door County Festival: Make Your Own Kite at the Door County YMCA

Come to the Door County YMCA Northern Door Program Center on Saturday, February 7 for a fun family kite making activity and a little warm-up indoors during Fish Creek Winter Festival’s “Kites Over The Bay” event.

Sponsored by the Fish Creek Kite Company, families can stop in at the YMCA in Fish Creek and build their own kites before heading down to the Fish Creek Beach to enjoy the festivities, see the many amazing kites that will be flying and even try their hand at flying their own creations.

Pre-registration is encouraged, but drop-ins are welcome. The kite making will be taking place from 10 am – noon. Cost to participate is $5/person.
