Ticket Sales Open for AFT

American Folklore Theatre (AFT) announces ticket sales are open for their 2013 Summer and Fall shows.

The season includes three musicals playing in repertory at their outdoor amphitheater in Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek and the return of last year’s world premiere, Victory Farm, to their indoor stage at the Door Community Auditorium.

Windjammers, by Robin Share and Clay Zambo, makes its world premiere at AFT this summer. The show is set in 1876 on the Great Lakes, when sailing was the hallmark of maritime commerce. Inspired by tales and tunes of 19th century Great Lakes sailors, Windjammers is described as a coming-of-age story of courage and adventure amid high waves, fresh air, legend, and song.

Windjammers plays Mondays at 8 pm, Wednesdays at 8:30 pm and Fridays at 8 pm.

The summer season (performed June 12 – August 24) features Windjammers, Loose Lips Sink Ships, and Muskie Love. Victory Farm will be performed for the fall season, Aug. 30 – Oct. 19.
