Time for Marina Fest

For the 21st year, Sister Bay celebrates its boating community and location on the water with Marina Fest on Aug. 30. This one-day fest has activities for everyone – young and old – and plenty of on-the-water entertainment.

Continuous events throughout the day include: the Classic and Wooden Boat Show on land and sea; a food court with everything from whitefish to snow cones; a Viking ship and tugboat display; maritime ropes display; safety exhibit; bouncy castle; music in the big tent; and water tours and rentals.

Most of the events take place in, or within walking distance of, Marina Park (adjacent to the marina). Marina Fest is sponsored by the Sister Bay Marina, and proceeds benefit the nonprofit organizations in attendance. For more information visit sisterbaymarina.com or call 920.854.4457.

Saturday, August 30

8 – 10 am: Pancake Breakfast

10 am – 4 pm: Used Book Sale

10 am – 2 pm: River City Six performs

10 am – 4 pm: Children’s Boat Building

10 am – 6 pm: Children’s games

12:30 pm: Dingy Races (report to waterski launch)

2 pm: Water Board Warriors Waterski Show

3:30 pm: Cardboard Boat Races

4 – 10 pm: Replica performs

7 pm: Sunset, live music, and fireworks cruise
