Tony Evers Visiting Sturgeon Bay, Algoma Oct. 27

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tony Evers is making campaign stops in Algoma and Sturgeon Bay Saturday, Oct. 27. His first stop will be at a rally at the Kewaunee County Democratic office, 610 4th St., Algoma at 2:30 pm. According to Chairwoman Mimi Dobbins, “Tony Evers recognizes challenges faced by local family farmers, schools, workers and protecting our natural resources. He has incorporated solutions to share with us in his policy statements. Farmers, outdoor enthusiasts, and all local people who are concerned with attacks on ethical government will want to hear what Tony Evers has to say.”

The Democratic Party of Door County will then welcome Evers to an event at Sturgeon Bay’s Union Supper Pub, 23 W. Oak St., 4 to 5:30 pm. The Door County campaign stop is a fundraiser for Evers’ run. He will be accompanied by Gov. Jay Inslee, Washington state governor and current head of the Democratic Governors’ Association. The public has an opportunity to hear a positive plan for Wisconsin and the opportunity to assist in electing a government, for the people, by the people, through a donation to an “Investment in People.”
