Touring Bjork

The Baileys Harbor Historical Society will host a program on Aug. 21 titled “The History of Bjِrklunden.” Learn about Bjِrklunden’s beginning as a private summer home, its handcrafted Norwegian stavkirke, becoming a place of serenity, contemplation, and ongoing education as a part of Lawrence University.

At 6 pm explore the grounds of Bjِrklunden, and at 7 pm enjoy a historical slideshow in the Main Lodge. After the slideshow, there will be docent-led tours of the facility. Bjِrklunden is located at 7590 Boynton Lane in Baileys Harbor.
