Turtle Ridge Hosts Fall Trunk Show

Christina Bussler and Jessica Penny teamed up for their first fashion runway show in Minneapolis this fall. The collection, entitled Venus and Gaia (made by mortals, fit for gods), will have a second showing at Turtle Ridge on October 15 – 17.

Each of the fall ensembles is multi-layered and multi-textured. The color pallet includes rich jewel-tones: dark pink, teal, green, and burgundy.

The runway looks are paired with functional hand and leg warmers, hats, and scarves. These cozy pieces can complete a winter outfit and are great gifts. Turtle Ridge produced special bags for the show, highlighting accessories in leather and fiber.

Both designers graduated from the University of Minnesota with fashion degrees.
