Unity Announces November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month

Unity is proud to celebrate November as National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. This outreach effort encourages people to learn more about the valuable resources of hospice, palliative and bereavement care before they are faced with a health care crisis.

Alisa Gerke, Unity’s executive director, shares, “We want the community to know that there’s help available when it’s most needed.” Gerke continues, “National Hospice and Palliative Care Month is an opportunity to educate our community on the comfort care, symptom management and family support that is available through these care programs.”
