Unity Celebrates National Hospice and Palliative Care Month

Unity celebrates November as National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. Alisa Gerke, Unity’s executive director, shares, “We want the community to know that there’s help available when it’s most needed.” Staff answers questions, offers guidance on what to expect and helps families with the duties of being caregivers. Gerke continued, “National Hospice and Palliative Care Month is an opportunity to educate our community on the comfort care, symptom management and family support that is available through these care programs.”
