The Door County leg of the world’s largest grassroots annual solar event, the National Solar Home Tour sponsored of the American Solar Energy Society, will take place at various locations along the peninsula from 10 am – 4 pm. Locally sponsored by the Renewable Energy Task Force of the Door Environmental Council, the tour is in its 14th year. • Sustainability for Communities Presentation, Sept. 23

Sustain Door, Inc. and the League of Women Voters of Door County (LWVDC) have joined to sponsor a public presentation by Roger Kuhns, Ph.D. The presentation will be about the short-term and long-term challenges facing communities and individuals in regard to resource scarcity and climate change, and will examine these challenges in light of community economics.
