UUF Screens Income Inequality TED Talks

On Sept. 14 at 4 pm, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will present TED Talks on income inequality. This week the talks present data about the percentage of the world’s population living in poverty and about the question of happiness. These talks will be followed by an open discussion. Everyone is encouraged to attend and share thoughts and opinions on the causes and solutions to income inequality.

The first TED Talk, “The good news on poverty,” is presented by U2’s Bono. The second TED Talk is “The surprise science of happiness,” presented by Dan Gilbert, social psychologist, writer, and Edge Pierce Professor of Psychology at Harvard.
