UUFDC Awards Food Pantry Coalition $7,500

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County (UUFDC) has awarded its second quarterly 25th-anniversary Community Support Initiative donation to the Door County Food Pantry Coalition. Henk Wolst, president of the UUFDC board, presented a $7,500 check to the Door County Community Foundation, which manages the food-pantry coalition’s fundraising. 

Throughout this milestone anniversary year, UUFDC’s tradition of giving back to the community is addressing four areas of critical need in Door County: child care, food insecurity, housing and mental health. Funds represent combined Sunday collections for a fiscal quarter, plus a match from UUFDC’s general budget, up to $2,500 per quarter. 

HELP of Door County will be the next beneficiary of UUFDC’s initiative.
