Advanced Directives give you a way to tell your wishes to family, friends, and health care professionals and, thereby, avoid confusion later on. Barb Herdina and other representatives from Door CANcer will discuss their services and answer questions about how they can meet the needs of individuals/families who are in treatment.

"Ask a Question, Save a Life" will explore how to address the topic of suicide and how to help provide support to those struggling with those thoughts. Bonnie Connolly and Monica Nelson, licensed professional counselors, will lead the discussion.

"Growing Older in Door County" discussion will be led by representatives from the Door County Community Foundation.

"Understanding Acupuncture and Other Non-surgical Treatments of Pain" discussion will be lead by Dr. Bill Moore.

"Falling is Not an Option". Christine Webb-Miller discusses fall prevention and balance training.

A panel of Medicare experts from Ministry Door County Medical Center will address traditional Medicare vs. Medicare Advantage, preventive services covered by Medicare and observation vs. inpatient and discharge planning.

"Resources for Living in Northern Door County" will be discussed by Pam Bush from Door-Tran and Sheila Petroni from Neighbor-to-Neighbor.

"Coughing, Wheezing, and Shortness of Breath: What Can I Do?" is presented by Callie Barber, BSN, RN from the Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab Department at Door County Medical Center. Free and open to the community.
