Virtual Commencement to Celebrate 2,000+ NWTC Grads

More than 2,000 students will receive degrees, diplomas and certificates this spring semester at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC).

“We are proud of our graduating students who have achieved this life-changing accomplishment,” said NWTC President Jeff Rafn. “With all of the challenges our students faced this past year, we are overjoyed to have an increase in graduates and also the number of students awarded honors.” There was a 27% increase in the number of high honor and honor students compared to last May.

A virtual commencement ceremony will be held May 21, 6 pm, to celebrate graduates from all campuses and regional centers. It will be open to graduates, friends and family members who will be able to access it through the NWTC website, and it will include addresses by Rafn and NWTC student ambassador Alma Lopez.
