Need More Election Coverage? Here are resources for voters looking for more information on their candidates, polling places and important election issues.

• Myvote.wi.gov

My Vote Wisconsin allows voters to enter their names and birthdates to see where their polling places area and what hours they’re open, as well as what will be included on their ballots.

• Politifact.com

PolitiFact checks the claims of candidates, campaigns, and other individuals and rates them on a scale of true to “pants on fire.” It also keeps a running tab of “promises kept” and “promises broken” by both parties and rates candidates on the Flip-O-Meter, which points out when and how drastically each has changed his or her tune on a specific issue.

Hosted by Wisconsin Public Television and Wisconsin Public Radio, WisconsinVote provides biographies on each candidate for the state and national legislature and presidential candidates. It also contains news, blogs, opinions, voting information, and a number of resources for teachers.

• Gab.wi.gov

The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board’s website includes voting information as well as links to a campaign finance database which tracks contributors from January 2009 to the present.

• Wiseye.org

Wisconsin Eye is dedicated to informing Wisconsin residents about the goings-on in Madison. It has a series of election interviews with candidates from some of the state races as well as other election-related videos. It also has a log of videos from state congressional and Supreme Court sessions.
