Washington Island Hosts Annual Cider Pressing Party

The annual Washington Island Farm Museum Cider Pressing Party will take place October 8 and 9 from 10 am to 4 pm both days. Families may bring their own apples to press or buy a bucket of apples for $4.

There will be entertainment in the New Barn along with Linda’s Famous Caramel Apples for $4 apiece. In the Stone Barn, brats, chili, hot and cold cider and ginger/sorghum cookies will be served. There will be an antique tractor show all weekend and horse drawn wagon rides. On Sunday the children’s games will start at 1 pm followed by the giant pumpkin weigh off at 3 pm.
