Washington Island Lions Club Hosts Fly-in Fish Boil July 15

On July 15, the Washington Island Lions Club will host its 64th annual Fly-in Whitefish Boil. Guests can fly, boat, motorcycle or walk in. Parking is free. The event held at the Washington Island Airport attracts around 150 to 250 pilots and planes from around the country. Pilots camp for free under their plane. There will be music, free hayrides and fun for the entire family. The price is $15 adults and $5 children. Hot dogs and ice cream will also be available. Serving will be from 11 am to 1 pm.
