Barbara Geurink of Eau Claire will be one of the featured artists at the Door County Wearable Art Show on Oct. 5 and 6 at the Sister Bay Village Hall.
Geurink uses the four seasons of the Wisconsin landscape to inspire color combinations in her hand-woven scarves, shawls and home accessories. Color has always been her main interest and is the first thing people notice about her work. She weaves textiles that are beautiful to look at and touch, are professionally finished and hand-washable.
The Door County Wearable Art Show will be held Oct. 5, 9 am to 5 pm, and Oct. 6, 10 am to 4 pm, inside the Sister Bay Village Hall. This art show is free and open to the public. For more information, call Sue Donohoo at 920.421.0449 or visit doorcountywearableartshow.com.
