Wilkins & Olander Hosts “She Beads” Trunk Show and Demo

On Saturday, August 9, from noon – 4 pm, Wilkins & Olander will host a trunk show featuring the new jewelry collections from She Beads as well as a special bead-making demonstration by ‘Bead Diva’ Sandy Rueve. The event will take place at Wilkins & Olander’s Third Avenue location in Sturgeon Bay.

“I call my hand-rolled clay beads She Beads, because it is what they are and it is what I do,” says Rueve, founder of She Beads. The artist and entrepreneur credit her design inspiration to her love of perennial gardening. Each changing season brings new color palettes and clay cane designs to the jewelry line, all blended under Rueve’s creative direction.

But She Beads are more than just stylish – the company’s Charity Bead Collection features beads that represent selected causes. “Our purpose is not just to donate the proceeds, but to become an advocate for education, to grow awareness, and connect people who share similar experiences,” explains Rueve.

Having traveled across the country to demonstrate her artistry, ‘The Bead Diva’ has shared She Beads stories with thousands of women and concludes, “A woman’s connection to She Beads results in powerful relationships with other women.”

She Beads have been featured in popular fashion magazines and were even selected to be included in the goodie bags at last year’s American Music Awards. The customizable nature of the bracelets, necklaces, and rings lends even more clout to their appeal.
