Wise Women and Witty Men Perform July 2

Four solo singer/songwriters will come together at the Woodwalk Barn on Friday, July 2 at 7 pm, for a night of sophisticated and moving music, touched with a bit of crazy. Jenny Bienemann and Jeanne Kuhns are the “Wise” and Robin Bieneman and George Sawyn are the “Witty” of “Wise Women and Witty Men,” good friends who love to mix it up with unexpected lyrics, harmonies, and stunning guitar work.

Jenny Bienemann is a Chicago folk singer with hip guitar riffs and unique vocal overlays, while Door County’s own Kuhns performs a mix of blues, jazz, and progressive folk.

Robin Bienemann offers comedic original songs with refined jazz and blues guitar styling, while Sawyn writes stirring instrumental pieces featuring acoustic jazz guitar and blues electric guitar solos.

All the band members will have recent CDs for sale. Sweetie Pies of Fish Creek will be on site with goodies and coffee; beer and soft drinks will be available as well.
