Woodwalk Concert Series Features Lost Mothra

Jeanne Kuhns and Lost Mothra will perform on July 8 as a part of the Woodwalk Concert Series. The combination of excellent musicianship, unforgettable vocals, and eclectic covers will ensure an enjoyable experience for attendees.

Kuhns weaves mystical lyrics and intriguing musical patterns into a “fusion of bluesy/jazz” wrapped in her brand of progressive folk. George Sawyn and Patrick Palmer complete the trio Lost Mothra. Sawyn, a veteran of the Chicago music scene for 30 years will bring his exceptional and versatile abilities on the acoustic and electric guitar while Patrick Palmer will play upright and electric bass. The three offer up three part harmonies in addition to Kuhns’ solo singing.

On July 15 at 7 pm, Eli Mattson will perform an intimate solo concert of new compositions and old favorites at Woodwalk.

In 2008 the whole country was introduced to Mattson’s passionate baritone vocals and stunning piano playing and voted Mattson second place winner on the 2008’s America’s Got Talent TV show. Since then he has traversed the country performing all kinds of venues including casinos, hotels in Vegas, and Carnegie Hall.

After all these years he has finally found the right band and written the right songs and will be recording this summer.

Woodwalk located south of Egg Harbor, one mile off Highway 42 at 6746 County G. The show will begin at 7 pm and tickets are $15 at the door.
