Woodwalk Explores Mystical Waters in New Exhibit

Woodwalk Gallery debuts the Mystical Waters exhibit on May 26 in conjunction with the Celebrate Water Door County initiative. Mystical Waters features four artists:  Brian Sullivan with oil and cold wax, Gary Hanks with watercolor, Nicola Kaftan with pastels, and Barbara Ottum with steel sculptures. The common thread between them is water in all its forms, and the artwork flows together beautifully. The exhibit is open through June 24.

On May 27, 4:30 – 7 pm, the gallery hosts a reception with refreshments and hors d’oeuvres. At 5:30 pm, Annie Egan, spearhead of Celebrate Water, will provide an overview of what’s going on in the county and Hans Christian will play music throughout the evening.

Woodwalk is open 10 am to 5 pm daily and represents more than 70 artists. On some Saturdays from June to October the hours are 10 am to 3 pm. For more information visit woodwalkgallery.com.
