Woodwalk Gallery and Events Barn Features Krista Detor July 29

Singer, songwriter, and pianist Krista Detor will perform on July 29 at Woodwalk Gallery & Events Barn. Detor’s album Mudshow, which was released in 2006 to international critical acclaim, reached the #1 spot on the Euro-Americana Chart.

Detor brought audiences to their feet last year at Woodwalk combining her amazing songwriting, inspired piano work and soulful, sultry voice with her dry sense of humor.

2010 brought the release of Chocolate Paper Suites to rave reviews. The quality of her writing has been compared to the likes of Leonard Cohen, Laura Nyro, Tom Waits and Joni Mitchell. Detor is touring the U.S. and Europe consistently and travels with her partner and producer, David Weber.

Upcoming concerts at Woodwalk will include Grayson Capps on August 4 and the Wise Women Concert on August 5.

Woodwalk is located south of Egg Harbor, one mile off Highway 42 at 6746 County G. The shows will begin at 7 pm and tickets are $15 at the door. Attendees are welcome to picnic on the back terrace beginning at 5:30 pm. Beer, soft drinks, and ice cream for sale.
