Workshops and Compelling Screenings Scheduled for Door County Short Film Fest

The fourth annual Door County Short Film Festival will be held at the Sister Bay Town Hall on Feb. 9. There will be workshops throughout the afternoon beginning at noon, and the short films will be shown at 7 pm.

The workshops include “Storytelling in Movies” with Lloyd Michalsen at 12 pm, “Acting in Movies” with Ed DiMaio and Amy Ludwigsen at 1:30 pm, and “Directing for Independent Movies” with Chris Opper and Tim Esrkine at 3 pm.

“Best Of Years 1 – 3,” is a compilation of the best short films from the previous festivals, and it will be shown at 5 pm. The main event begins at 7 pm when the 2013 Short Films will be shown; audience members will be asked to vote on their favorite film.

Popcorn and other refreshments will be available.
