Workshops At ARTicipation

Sturgeon Bay’s ARTicipation Studio and Gallery is hosting a series of workshops through February.

The first is on Feb. 3, 12-3 pm, when photographer Mike Caplan will teach a winter iPhone photography workshop. The first half of the class will cover the basics of iPhone photography and during the second half, participants will practice outside. In the event of inclement weather, the class will be conducted indoors and focus on food photography and still life.

Next, on Feb. 10, 2-5 pm, local artist and teacher Nicole Herbst will lead a felt workshop, during which participants will learn how to make a winter scene using felt as their “paint.” Lastly, on Feb. 24, painter Steve Krueger will lead a watercolor workshop 1-4 pm.
