Wounded Hero Fishing Excursion at Lodge at Leathem Smith

The Lodge at Leathem Smith will host the 4th Annual Wounded Hero Fishing Excursion Aug. 16-18. Paul Meleen owner and executive chef of The Lodge At Leathem Smith, and a professional fisherman, is excited and honored to be organizing this event.

Approximately 30 to 40 wounded veterans who served in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq are planning to attend. Several local charter captains are giving up their charters for these days to take the participants fishing. The public is encouraged to attend and stop by to offer sentiments to these veterans.
