YMCA Displays Jim Leatham Paintings

Original impressionistic paintings by Jim Leatham will be displayed at the YMCA in Fish Creek throughout May.

The exhibition includes over 30 paintings, created in 2012, of towns, harbors, carnivals, and parades. Each painting depicts the life and activities as well as the beauty found in Door County – harvests of August hay fields, pumpkin patches, regattas, spring cherry orchards in full bloom, beaches, bluffs, and a Christmas sunrise on Cana Island are just a few of the images.

Leatham’s work has been juried annually into the Miller Art Museum and Hardy Gallery exhibits. He is an active founding member of the Door County Outdoor Painters.
