YMCA Recognizes National Volunteer Week

The Door County YMCA recognizes National Volunteer Week – a time to honor individuals who dedicate themselves to strengthening our community.

In Sturgeon Bay last summer, over 30 Y volunteers helped serve over 5,100 lunches and 3,500 snacks to over 1,750 children through the Summer Food Program. Many more opportunities exist for others to help make a difference, like supporting the Strong Kids Campaign, serving at Dining Around the Door (May 19) or helping at the Summer Food Program.
