Weekly Performances by Katie Dahl at The Tin Plate

The Tin Plate (the new name of the former Hitching Post in Valmy) is pleased to announce weekly performances by popular Door County musician Katie Dahl every Thursday from Sept. 10 through Oct. 8, 7 – 9 pm. Dahl, a nationally known folk singer-songwriter, will perform with her frequent sideman, upright bass and percussion player Rich Higdon.

Dahl “combines old-fashioned populism, an abiding love of the land and wickedly smart love songs, all delivered in a rich and expressive alto” (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel). Known for the literate candor of her original songs and the easy humor of her live performances, Dahl also has three studio albums and an original musical play, Victory Farm (Northern Sky Theater) to her credit.
