Amazing food, great live music, family fun activities and spectacular fall color come together once again to serve up a festival like no other on the peninsula. The 72nd annual Sister Bay Fall Fest runs Oct. 13 – 15 throughout Sister Bay. This year Fall Festers can indulge in the widest selection ever of street food and drink and catch great live music throughout the festival grounds. Bowlers can try throwing a strike at pumpkin bowling, and in the Arts and Crafts area, shopping and handicraft enthusiasts alike will find more than 100 booths filled with handmade creations.

Fall Fest’s 72nd year brings some firsts to the festival schedule. For the kids, there will be the Touch-A-Truck event from 12-4 pm on Saturday. Located at the Sister Bay Fire Station, kids of all ages can come to climb on, explore, learn about and get a picture with vehicles of all sizes.

Even more entertainment and games are available for kids of all ages with inflatable games, a bungee rock wall, a goldfish game and more.

A new event – the Adult Big Wheel Rally debuts Sunday, 10 am at the Sister Bay Hill. The race will be in heats, with 16 teams, all sponsored by local businesses, racing against each other for title of Big Wheel Champion. Come to cheer on your favorite team or driver or just to see the fun roll down the hill.

Food and drink sales begin at 10 am Friday and Sunday; 9 am Saturday before Highway 42 is closed for the parade, which begins at 11 am.

The Sister Bay Lions Club will host its annual Door County Fish Boil Friday night at the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Fire Station, and the Northern Door Kiwanis will hold a Pancake Breakfast in the Village Hall on Saturday morning.
