2nd Annual Heritage Days

In honor and celebration of the farmers, lumbermen, and fishermen who settled their families in the Township of Gibraltar over one hundred years ago, the Town of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Historical Association will present the second annual Heritage Days.

The weeklong schedule of events kicks off with “Garments of Our Foundation” at the Gibraltar Grill on June 6, and the festivities include a sunset serenade, walking tours through Fish Creek’s historical village, carriage rides, tours of a restored lighthouse, and an antiques road show. Local artists will be scattered throughout the village painting in the “plein air” style. Special programs include a history presentation of the local pioneering women and Chambers Island, and tours of the Alexander Noble House. Heritage Days will conclude with a “Roaring Fire-House Dance” on Saturday, June 12.
