A “Second Wind” at the Gallery at Domicile

The Gallery at Domicile announced the opening of their second annual “Second Wind” exhibit. Several Wisconsin artists will be featured, all of who have, until now, fit their art around family, careers, and other demands.

Join artist Sue Vineyard on Saturday, July 17, as she welcomes visitors to the exhibit. Featured artists include Ann Baer, Pat Bishop, Judy Callen, Susan Kennelly, Jane Kayser, Judy Laubmeier, Judith Rheberg, Fritz Seybold, and Sue Vineyard. Two new artists to the exhibit include Marilyn McGoldrick and Ron Litterst.

McGoldrick is a retired educator who began taking art classes at the Peninsula School of Art in 2005. Over the past five years she has studied watercolor and pastel with a number of talented artists. This is the first occasion in which she will be sharing her art with the public.

Litterst, a retired lawyer, came to art on a similar path. In December 2005, as a gift from his daughter, he took a workshop in watercolor for beginners at the Peninsula School of Art. This is also his first exhibit.

The Gallery at Domicile offers a wide variety of original works by Wisconsin artists. The gallery is open Wednesday – Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm and Sundays from 11 am – 4 pm at 10592 Hwy 57 in Sister Bay. For more information and a schedule of artists’ demonstrations call 920.854.9005.
