Gallery at Domicile of Door County Opens for Season

The Gallery at Domicile in Sister Bay is open for the 2011 season. Now in its third season, the Gallery at Domicile represents Wisconsin artists showing exclusively at the historic location. Artist and owner, Jane Kayser, will join artists Sue Vineyard, Judith Rheberg, Carolyn Kenney-Carter, Ann Baer, Fritz Seybold, Nana Schowalter, Susan Kennelly, and others in the opening exhibit. Featured selections will include watercolors, pen and ink drawings, pastels, oil and acrylic paintings, glass, and carvings. Throughout the summer artists will be on hand to demonstrate.

Returning this season, the Gallery at Domicile will feature the “Artist’s Attic,” offering “retired” art at reduced pricing. The “Artist’s Attic” is housed on the loft level of the gallery.

For 24 years, Domicile has been a destination for visitors and residents as it offers handmade originals in wood, fiber, metal, glass, clay, paper, and paint by Wisconsin artists.

Domicile and the Gallery at Domicile, open Wednesday – Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday from 11 am – 4 pm, are located at 10592 Highway 57, just south of downtown Sister Bay. For more information call 920.854.9005.
