Gallery at Domicile Begins Second Season with “Summer Breezes”

The Gallery at Domicile opens for the 2010 season on Saturday, May 22, with the exhibit “Summer Breezes.” Now in its second season, the Gallery at Domicile represents Wisconsin artists showing exclusively at the historic Door County location in Sister Bay.

The exhibit showcases work inspired by the warm breezes of the summer from artist and owner, Jane Kayser, as well as Sue Vineyard, Judith Rheberg, Carolyn Kenney-Carter and Ann Baer. Featured selections include watercolors, pen and ink drawings, pastels, oil and acrylic paintings, restructured watercolors and whimsical mirrors.

The Gallery at Domicile also announces the introduction of the “Artist’s Attic,” celebrating it’s Grand Opening Saturday and Sunday, May 22 – 23 and May 29 – 30. The Grand Opening will include refreshments, artist demonstrations, and a free pen and ink Door County Landmark print created by Sue Vineyard, the Gallery’s Artist in Residence. The Artist’s Attic will offer “retired” art at reduced pricing for Door County visitors and residents.
