A Tribute to an Artistic Life

The Washington Island Art Association (WIAA) will have its annual Labor Day show at the Washington Island Art and Nature Center. This year the show will feature the work of the late Phoebe Olson, who passed away in the spring. Olson was a long time WIAA member, and the WIAA will honor her memory by featuring her work in the upcoming late summer exhibition. The exhibition will open with a reception on Friday, Sept. 2nd at 4 pm. There will be time at the reception for WIAA members to share their memories of Olson as a tribute to her artistic life on the island. The Art and Nature Center is located at 1799 Main Road.
