Adoption Appointments No Longer Needed at Humane Society

The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Door County Campus is now holding open adoption hours, which means that adoption appointments are no longer required in order to see animals. Simply stop in during adoption hours to meet with a counselor, check out available animals or browse the retail store.

The WHS Door County Campus is open for animal viewing and adoptions Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11 am – 4 pm; and Saturdays, 12-4 pm. Adoption services are closed on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays. Interested adopters are encouraged to see the available animals online and fill out an adopter profile ahead of time at wihumane.org/adopt.

Stray/surrender hours remain unchanged: Monday-Sunday, 8 am – 5 pm. If you are taking a stray or surrendering an animal, please make an appointment in advance by calling 920.746.1111.
