City of Algoma: The library board meets at 4 pm on May 16. The Community Development Committee meets at 6 pm on May 16. The Utility Commission meets at 5 pm on May 18. The Finance/Personnel Committee meets at 8:30 am on May 19.

Do you have questions about Algoma’s Crescent Beach? Please plan to attend the program “Crescent Beach Health: A Summer Water Quality Monitoring & Beach News Update” on May 18 at 6 pm at the Farm Market Kitchen, 520 Parkway, Algoma, to get accurate information about Crescent Beach for yourself and to share with others. Speakers include Cindy Kinnard, Kewaunee County Public Health Nurse; Sara Robertson, Algoma Parks and Recreation director; and Kimberly Busse, laboratory manager, Environmental Research & Innovation Center, UW-Oshkosh. This is the final spring program in the Friends of Crescent Beach Speakers Series.
