An Hour With Ruby

The Egg Harbor Historical Society will present its final summer program, a video interview, “An Hour with Ruby,” on Sept. 26, 2 pm, at the Kress Pavilion.

Ruby Demmin shares her recollections of Egg Harbor, Sunny Point and Horseshoe Bay, and talks about her experiences, including the people she met growing up, her childhood adventures and her work in the area. She recalls attending the village school and Casey’s, where they named the Ruby Burger after her in recognition of her years of work in the kitchen.

The Kress Pavilion is located at 7845 Church St. in Egg Harbor.
