An Hour with Ruby

The Egg Harbor Historical Society (EHHS) will present a video interview, “An Hour with Ruby,” on Oct. 20, 1:30 pm, at the Kress Pavilion.

Ruby Demmin has experienced a lot and now shares her recollections of Egg Harbor, Sunny Point, Horseshoe Bay and more: the people she met growing up, her childhood adventures and experiences, and working in the area. She recalls locals such as Paddy Gray of what is now Mojo Rosa’s, and Casey Lautenbach of Casey’s, where they named the Ruby Burger after her in recognition of her years of work in the Casey’s kitchen.

The Kress Pavilion is located at 7845 Church St. in Egg Harbor.
