Paintings on stone by Richard Brawner.

Bay Art Gallery’s Rick Brawner is now displaying his images on stone. He handpicked these pieces of ledge outcroppings of Dolomite near Fish Creek, and painted many familiar Door County scenes. Brawner cleans the surface, primes it with gesso, and then completes the painting in high-grade Lukas 1862 oil paint. The last step is a protective varnish that will keep the colors looking fresh.
