Another Week, Another Victory for Door County Destroyers

On July 23, the Door County Destroyers hosted their rival, the Muskego Hitmen, in a MidStates Football League (MSFL) regular season match-up. Muskego had the lead going into halftime by a score of 12-10 and that’s when the Destroyers took over the game and cruised to a 41-12 victory.

Standout performers of the day: Quarterback T.J. Arndt – 264 yards, 3 touchdowns; running back TaMar Scott – 109 yards, 1 touchdown; running back Junior Blucher – 14 carries for 50 yards, 1 touchdown, 3 receptions for 47 yards; wide receiver Andre Wilson – 74 yards, 1 touchdown; tight end Andrew Lamers – 43 yards, 1 touchdown; cornerback Tydus Morrow led the defense with 8 total tackles; safety Bryan Beachler – 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception, 1 blocked punt; cornerback Jake Hall – 1 tackle, 1 pass deflection, 2 interceptions; linebacker Donny Johnson – 6 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass deflection; kicker/punter Eric Natwick – 2-2 on field goals with a long of 35 yards and 5 of 5 on extra points.
