Asian Carp…For Dinner?

The dreaded (and hideous) Asian Carp is in the news everywhere lately, and most of the time the news isn’t good for the carp’s image. But some Louisiana businessmen see an opportunity where many see catastrophe.

An Associated Press report says the businessmen have “started a joint venture that will put Asian carp on retail shelves within weeks.”

The carp will be caught and sold as Silverfin, and are said to taste like a cross between scallops and crab meat.
